We are going through a growing phase and are excited in your interest to work with us. We are looking for businesses to showcase at our events and online presence. If your interested in getting exposure for your product and business we would love to chat about opportunities. Our focus is our youth and website. We have one great sponsor listed below who started off a great thing for our youth and would love to make it happen for more youth if you would generously donate.
Project 1. NEW WEBSITE
We are updating our website and looking to partner with ranches and businesses that are looking for exposure and connections with the amazing and gorgeous Texas Longhorn.

Project 2. YOUTH ENGAGEMENT
In an effort to reach more youth we are working to become more active online. Find us on FB West Coast Longhorns. We have a great opportunity with the Durks Family Farm has agreed to match $1,500 for a total purse of $3,000 for a Youth Show at CA state fair.
We are excited to offer a larger pot to any 4H or FFA age youth to show a steer at CA state Fair. The Durk Family Farms started this off and we hope you will join us to make it even better for them. If you know the beef world you know that no county show will give a second look to longhorns so we want to give our youth a real chance at winning some prize money for their animals.

Public Awareness
We are looking for ways to bring awareness to this great breed as well as new members and breeders. We are looking to reward our members for entering parades as either lead animals or riding steers. To showcase them at public events in their towns such as street fairs etc. We are also looking to host a booth at the 'World Ag Expo' in Tulare, CA in 2026. This is a great opportunity to show case our breed to the world as they have buying vested visitors from over 100 countries and 48 states visiting there each year. With over 100,000 visitors it is a great marketing opportunity.
Health Conscience Beef is another way we are hoping to bring awareness to or breed. With it's heart health profile better than chicken we have a marketing opportunity we can capitalize on if done correctly. By utilizing DNA to find breeding stock with high tenderness scores we can assure chefs and restaurateurs that the longhorn beef is healthy, tasty and tender. We are working on finding and connecting USDA processors who can handle horned animals.
CA State Fair our longest show

This show is the CATLB longest running show. The club has hosted this event for decades and it is a great public awareness opportunity for the breed and breeders that are able to make it. We are hopeful to see this grow especially in the youth division.
