Support Texas Longhorns by Becoming a Member

The California Association of Texas Longhorn Breeders is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide support for people who either own or are interested in Texas Longhorn cattle. Our active membership is open to anyone who owns at least one longhorn that is capable of breeding and is registered with the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA).

On the other hand, associate (nonvoting) memberships are available to those who do not own any Texas Longhorns but are interested in preserving the unique heritage of the breed and its connection to the history of America.

Special Events

California Association of Texas Longhorn Breeders sponsors at least one statewide show each year as well as several other gatherings where members can get together socially and enjoy their common interest in these magnificent purebred animals.

The annual world qualifying show is typically held in Sacramento, California in at during the California State Fair on the Cal Expo Fairground.

California Association of Texas Longhorn Breeders holds an annual meeting every year for the group to meet and discuss CATLB business, establish policies and explore educational opportunities.

California Association of Texas Longhorn Breeders Memberships

Lifetime Membership - $500

Lifetime members are breeders of Texas Longhorns. The memberships are restricted to individuals and include voting privileges.

Active Membership - $50

An active member should be a reputable breeder of Texas Longhorns. Individuals, partnerships, corporations, and organizations may become active members. The membership includes voting privileges.

Associate Membership - $30

Associate members are not necessarily breeders, but they are interested in the promotion of Texas Longhorns. The membership does not include voting privileges.

Junior Membership - $20

Junior members are members below the age of 18. A junior member will have all the rights of membership except voting privileges.
